Elevenses, Wednesday 26 March, Using the Rethinking Touring Exhibitions Toolkit to reduce the environmental impact of exhibitions, touring and object loans
The Exhibitions Group, (TEG) in partnership with the Art Fund and the Design Museum has produced the toolkit to help you to make environmentally friendlier choices more easily. In this session, Dana Andrew (TEG Professional Development Manager) will introduce the toolkit and how to use it to reduce the environmental impact of exhibitions, touring and object loans. The toolkit demonstrates the types of questions to ask, considerations to think of, actions to take, and links to resources that you can use at each stage of your exhibition, touring or loans project. After Dana’s short presentation, there will be time for questions and discussions.
Rethinking Touring Exhibitions: a toolkit to reduce environmental impact can be download via the Environmental Responsibility Hub on the TEG website
