Aire & Calder Methodist Circuit – Arts Coordinator
Aire & Calder Methodist Circuit are seeking to appoint a part time Creative Arts Co-ordinator to develop the work of the Lakeside Creative Arts Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and energetic person to:
Co-ordinate the development of the Lakeside Creative Arts Centre (LCAC) in which there is an atmosphere of welcome and belonging.
Develop and be responsible for art-based programmes which address LCAC’s objectives:
- To to explore, encounter and celebrate faith and spirituality, and in which to confront many of the challenges which living today brings;
- To to help people of all ages develop new creative skills; to learn, to change and to grow;
- To develop self-esteem and grow in confidence;
- To to create a space where health and well-being can be addressed through nature and the arts.
Develop creative partnerships with artists, art groups and organisations including schools and other churches in pursuit of the objectives.
