Elevenses, Thursday 13 February, Pilgrim Trust Grants
Nikola Burdon, Grants Manager at The Pilgrim Trust, will talk about their Preservation and Conservation funding which provides grants to preserve and conserve significant historic buildings, structures, objects, works of art, collections and records. The Trust is keen to encourage more applications from the North of England. Nik will go through the priorities for the fund, levels of funding, success rates, the application process and examples of recent grants.
The Pilgrim Trust is an independent charitable trust that gives around £3 million in grants each year, throughout the UK, to improve the life chances of the most vulnerable in society and to preserve the best of our past for the benefit of the public.
Insightful, interactive and informal, come along to gain new insights from our guests, meet colleagues from the region, and connect with the MDN team. Everyone who works and volunteers in museums is most welcome, including museum freelancers who want to stay connected.
