Manchester City Council – Collections Management Officer

Manchester City Council is seeking a Collections Management Officer.

The Collections Management Officer is responsible for the documentation and management of the unique Town Hall collection, which includes furniture, sculpture, paintings and social history material. You will create and maintain records on the collections management system and will be responsible for object photography. You will work closely with the Collections Officer to improve the packing and storage of the collection in preparation for its return to the Town Hall, ensuring all items are marked and labelled. You will also help supervise volunteers and contractors, as required.
