Stricklandgate House – Heritage Engagement/Audience Development Consultancy

Stricklandgate House Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Heritage Engagement / Audience Development Consultant(s) for the development of our heritage engagement resources and activities for our National Lottery Heritage Fund Project: Stricklandgate House 4 Sustainable Heritage: Where heritage meets the day-to-day (SGH4SH).

A development grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund will help us redevelop and enhance Stricklandgate House to become a heritage and community hub in addition to strengthening is core business supporting the third sector. You will helps shape a reimagined building featuring exhibition space, interpretation and activities for heritage and culture, a community hub in the centre of Kendal and a strengthened Third Sector hub.

The Heritage Engagement / Audience Development Consultant(s) will undertake audience development, heritage research and support the development and delivery of our heritage engagement activities and interpretation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with substantial experience in audience development, research, heritage, community engagement and the third sector.
